陈政利与陈忠辉运气乏佳，遇上了夺冠呼吁声高的林超贤和何伟昌。陈忠辉后手以过宫炮迎战林超贤的起马局。开局阶段，林超贤抓住了黑方左翼拥挤的弱点，进行了封锁。黑方局势顿时处于下风。红棋跃马飞炮开始侵略黑方阵地。为了避免中局恶化，陈忠辉进中卒用车抢占竹林准备来个瓮中抓鳖，抓死红马。岂料林超贤来弃炮破双象，得子得势。黑无奈只好投子认负。陈政利则运气奇佳；因何伟昌缺席而取得1分。
洪权利代替其兄长洪顺利出战也攻下傅麟耕的城池。笔者执黑对上小将林家勇。双方以罕见的屏风马双横车对屏风马双横车拉开序战。中局林家勇走软了一手炮甩边兵；笔者见机不可失，马上驱卒过河与其决一死战。在快反先之时，笔者走了一步黑车压红马的随手棋。这下可糟了，红有一手炮打车的棋而使黑棋多走了两步循环的棋。此时笔者时间吃紧，无奈只好放手一搏。但毕竟亏两步在先，接着又白送一马而被逼签下城下之盟。
